We have just returned after spending 3 nights here. The place was a little quirky but had a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was great. Room was spacious but there was no shower just a free standing bath in the room. Rooms were not sound proof and you could hear everything through the shutters. Ali and Salima were both great. Very friendly and willing to help. The older manger was friendly but we were very disappointed with the recommendation from him in regards to excursions. DO NOT use the company recommended at the Riad. We did a qua/dinner excursion and is was poor value for money and disappointing to say the least. Overall would recommend the Riad if you want something different and reasonably priced. We didn’t eat there but food smelt great and was reasonably priced at €17 for a three course meal.

It was my second time in Morocco and my partners first time, and the beauty of the riad did not disappoint with the furnishings and location. Breakfast was provided every morning: fresh bread, croissants and orange juice with either tea or coffee. The staff serving this were very attentive. The room was spacious and clean, however the shower was like a pipe attached to the bath faucet which meant that showering was very difficult as it wet all the room. Furthermore, the hot water was not consistent and some days we had to have a cold shower. We met Ali who worked at the riad and for his own work deserves 5 stars. He was very helpful and kind and would advise us on the right prices to pay, where to eat and places to visit around the city. Without him, our stay would not have been as good. He took time out of his day to help us and make us feel comfortable during our stay. Thank you for this Ali. The same cannot be said of the manager. During our stay, despite paying beforehand, he repeatedly asked us during breakfast that we had to pay for the whole week again. We showed him both the bank transactions and the proof of payment but that did not stop him from asking. He wanted us to leave our bank cards with him which we did not feel comfortable doing. After a couple of days, he then realised we had paid and the problem went. Furthermore, when we arrived he said that we had a room upgrade- we did not ask for this but were nonetheless very grateful. However, after three days into our 7 day stay he said that we had to move rooms as other guests had booked this room. We only had three nights left and excursions booked so to move rooms, pack our things ect would’ve been a huge inconvenience. Again, during breakfast he kept saying we have to move rooms. He then indicated that we would have a sofa bed in a small room where everyone eats breakfast and walks past. This room had a bathroom attached that a manager also used frequently so did not feel like a proper bedroom- more like a downgrade. The other staff were very welcoming, kind and polite. This was very important in a busy city like Marrakech as it did provide an oasis of calm.

This place is actually a dar not a riad, but that's not my quibble. The layout with all the rooms' windows centering the enclosed breakfast area means a lot of noise and no privacy. Our room didn't even have a full wall to insulate us from the din of breakfast one storey below. Just a curtain where there should have been drywall. The room itself was massive and fantastically decorated. Loved it. But I couldn't stay here again because of the lack of privacy and noise, We actually had to whisper so the other guests couldn't hear us; plus were kept up by the clang of kitchen prep other guests watching a soccer game in the lobby a few feet away from our curtain etc. Plus the manager wanted to charge us Eu 20 for a taxi to the airport, So we got our own cab and it was less than Eu 5. The rooftop area was rundown and the main eating area is in dire need of refurbishment. Overall, it felt like camping. On the plus side; the wifi was great.

Fantastic friendly team, Simo ensured our stay was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The room, despite being “small” had a spacious double with enough space to fit a large bath. The AC was welcome after a long day exploring. We booked several excursions, our breakfast was included and there was no hesitation offering this early to ensure we could be at the departure point. The only negative we can offer is that the food we ordered was not great. My partners food was over cooked but edible. My food was completely inedible. we watched the “cook” place all the food ordered in the microwave. We had returned at 9pm and possibly this is why it was not fresh. This was mentioned when asked if we enjoyed the food, however the language barrier possibly meant that the staff did not understand. Breakfast was fantastic so this may have been an isolated experience. Overall, as a hotel, the riad is beautiful and the staff friendly and welcoming. We would definitely say this is fantastic value for money… just order food earlier if you wish it to be fresh.

We have absolutely loved staying at this Riad. The service was wonderful, staff could not be more helpful in every way. We were able to arrange trips through the riad and they advised us with everything else we needed. We arrived much later than planned due to delays with the airline and still they picked us up and made sure we had everything we needed before they went to bed.Breakfast each morning was plentiful and tasty with incredible service. Could not tate this Riad more highly
We arrived 3 hours late due to delays but were still greeted with a warm welcoming smile along with delicious home made food. The service was amazing and we were introduced to all the exciting activities the hotel has to offer, on which we did the tuktuk tour. Our room was filled, just like the hotel itself, with beautiful paintings and interior. Only a short 15 minute walk to the souks and square so perfectly placed for travelling. In the morning we received a wonderful filling breakfast with the most lovely freshly squeezed orange juice and freshly cooked eggs among other things. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating.Highly recommend.
We were welcomed by Simo into the peaceful haven within easy walking distance from the main souk. The Riad is clean, quiet and we were instantly made to feel at home. Simo organised some tours for us and was super helpful. For the price I cannot recommend it enough. Great food and superb breakfast. My wife had an amazing hammam and massage whilst I enjoyed chilling on the roof terrace.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Simo and Hossny were the perfect hosts abs have taken care of us in every step of the way from booking a transfer to pick us up from the airport to arranging a magic tea for the day in which we didn’t feel well. IF YOU ARE GOING TO MARRAKECH, YOU MUST STAY AT THIS RIAD. Trust me, you will not regret it.
The location is great. In the middle of a town market. The breakfast was delicious and served at our preferred time which was very nice. Our room was really nice, spacious and we were lucky enough to have a balcony for ourselves. Definately we will stay in this Riad if we come back to Marrakech. Thank you Nouhaila and all the team for a great service!
Poole
My husband and I stay here for two nights with my brother and sister in law. What a fabulous place, Marco the manager was excellent, greeting us on arrival and making sure we got the most out of our stay, Nouhaila was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome and like a family friend. The breakfast was lovely, the best I’ve had in a hotel for a long time and they did an evening meal for us as well which was excellent and amazing value. If you want a local experience at a high standard this is the hotel for you. Thank you Marco and Nouhaila for making our short stay so special.
Colchester
This is a cracking little Riad with 8 bedrooms in the food quarter of the Medina. The decor within the courtyard is traditional Moroccan with sofas, cushions and throws. A small pool and a few tables for breakfast and other meals if you eat in.The rooms are large, nicely appointed and all have original art works. They can offer a hammam, massage and scrub etc.The breakfasts are delicious with plenty of freshly made breads and pancakes, honey, jam, fruit, yoghurt and the kitchen will also cook you some eggs.Evening meals can be ordered for less than 20 € pp and are delicious Tajines with chicken, beef or fish with fresh salad or vegetables and couscous. A superb feast which you must try.Marco who runs the place is charming, professional, helpful and really interested in you having a great stay and Nouhaila is an absolute gem and such a lovely host who cannot do enough for you.To give you an example. We were looking foe a tajine to bring home and got taken by a local shopkeeper to a place up some stairs in the market. There they tried to convince us that a basic earthenware tajine was worth 885 dirham ( approx £70 ) and was backed up by manager to come in and also try to get us to buy. They eventually came down to half that but we refused and eventually managed to get out. When we came back to the Riad, Marco was disgusted and Nouhaila actually went out into the market for us and took photos of various tajines and advised us of the standard prices. For the one we were getting conned on the actual price was 80 dirham ( about £6-7 )So... be careful when buying stuff and do not be afraid to ask for help.We cannot praise Marco and Nouhaila enough and the Riad was also fabulous.

BCK Art Riad is not only beautifully artistic, clean, modern, and peaceful, it’s also run by the most amazing people!!! They were most accommodating, fantastic, and made us feel sooooooooo welcome. We were treated like royalty but at the same time like family! They even organized a surprise birthday party for me!!! Apart from the human side of things, it’s also at a great location, very convenient for walking in the Medina and gong sightseeing. It’s also very close to a main street, 5 minute walk, which makes it convenient for transport outside of the Medina. I highly recommend it in all aspects. Stay as you are!!! You are fantastic!!!!Thank you for everything. Best,Maria Byron Panayidou(Traveling from Cyprus)

A true jewel in the crown of the walled Medina city of Marrakesh. Hidden away down a side alley behind a large ornate door. Entrance into a lovely courtyard garden then pass through into the inner courtyard where you are treated to an amazing traditional Riad by by truly wonderful hosts. The rooms are just splendid. I took my adult son and daughter here to celebrate a tough university year. Each of us had amazing rooms , exceptionally clean and presented. I was lucky enough to have room 4 with its own terrace over the garden courtyard. Great place to start and end the day. This Riad has its own spa which I can highly recommend for traditional treatment, Also they offer dinner and a cooking class all at reasonable extra charge. Riad is situated just inside the Walled City and about a 20min walk to the main market of Jemaa el-Fna, and the palaces, and in the other direction 20min walk to the new city district Marrakech Plaza. When booking this Riad boot a taxi transfer through the Riad as they walk you to the front door.. Walking feels safe, crossing the roads takes decisive moves they stop when you are on the crossing. Within the medina the narrow streets can be packed, hot dusty and full of the aromas of Marrakech. But we felt safe every step. Can’t recommend this Riad highly enough a true Jewel in the Crown . Thank you BCK Art Riad for making our visit to Marrakech so magical... I will most certainly return sooner than later...

We spent 3 nights here - 6 friends in 3 double rooms. From the moment we were met by the Riad's transfer taxi we received an excellent service that really made our first stay in Marrakech unforgettable! The sights, sounds & smells of the Medina are on the doorstep of the Riad, but stepping inside the door you enter a beautifully renovated oasis of calm with huge comfortable beds, relaxing common areas and stunning artwork. The welcome from Marco & staff was excellent & provided us with an easy & relaxed start to our break by advising us on Souks, cafes, hints & tips and even walking with us into the main square on the first occasion to ensure we found our way, the ATM & a reputable exchange bureau. Breakfasts were fresh and delicious and on 2 evenings we ate in the Riad which is highly recommended! Food was so tasty. Overall the staff went above and beyond to provide us with an amazing short stay, would definitely return
Best place to stay for sure.Delicious food and rooms are very clean. Ikhlas is the greatest host, she helped us a lot with best tips for moving from place to place. I highly recommend this especially for those who are for the first time in Marrakech.

BCK Art Riad is one of the best places I have ever enjoyed in my 13 years travelling in Morocco. It's lovely host Marco is a very chilled back and kind man always ready to help if needed but never in your face. The staff here are excellent, gentle and helpful. The breakfast very delicious...fruit salad, yogurt, scrambled eggs, traditional breads and french pastries...and great coffee. The rooms, all individually decorated tastefully and new contemporary art appearing on the walls as they sell. The beds are super super comfy and large...best sleeps ever in Morocco for me...with fresh white pure cotton bed linens. Beautiful layout, great decor, big terrace and a 2 great plunge pools for those hot hot Marrakech days. Architecturally very pleasing on the eye...cool whites with a splash of colour. I love this place and highly recommend it and the sweet staff there. Thank you again Marco, Ikhlas and Amal.

A great experience. I felt like part of the Riad family. Very cute and cozy Riad tucked away next to all the action of Marrakech. We loved the area and it's accessibility to everything in the old town. The host and staff were all so friendly and kind! They coordinated trips, tours and airport transfers without hassle. I was very inspired by the accommodations!
